Reportedly had over 20 scholarship offers from various colleges. This is a bit baffling to me as there doesn't seem to be anything in his stats or film that would warrant that level of interest from so many schools. He's a big man and looks physically imposing, but based on what I've seen so far, it's hard to understand why he would have received so many offers.

Bobcat fans welcome him, but I'm looking forward to watching him this spring to gain a better assessment of his abilities. It's possible that the other teams who offered him scholarships saw something in him that I haven't yet, and I'm eager to see if he can live up to that potential. It's always hard to judge a player based on limited information, so I'll reserve my final judgement for after the spring practices.

Update: 2-6-2023: Webb is proving he is one of the quickest big men on the team per Bret Huth Fly 5 +10 & 10 + 10 tweet (see sources). Had almost no information about him prior, which is why I rated him a 3.0 star play. Moving him to 3.5 Stars, which means he has the ability but want to see more.
