Tavian Coleman
Defensive Line
6'1" 280lbs
RS Junior
Has experience as a solid rotational defensive lineman. He started his career at Trinity Valley Community College and then transferred to Utah State where he played in the 2022 season. He ended the season with 12 unassisted tackles, 14 assisted tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 1 sack.
Tavian brings solid depth to the defensive line which is crucial for any team that wants to win. He has a good track record of production in his previous stops and should be able to bring that to Texas State as well. I expect him to be a part of the 2-deep rotation, providing valuable minutes and production. He should be a valuable addition to the Bobcats' defense and a strong contributor to the team's success.
Update 2/2/2022 Per Bret Huth Tavian is measuring as one of the most explosive big men on the team. Moving him up from a 4 Star to 4.5 Star as he's looking more like a starter.
