Kalil Alexander

Defensive End

6'3" 215lbs

Junior

Kalil may look small on tape, but he plays large. He had an excellent season at defensive end at Coffeyville Community College, tallying 55 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 1 int, and 3 forced fumbles last season.

We watched his game against Hutchinson Community College, a team that eventually made it to the NJCAA National Championship Game. Hutchinson had two massive offensive tackles, one a first-team all-conference player and the other a second-team all-conference player, but Kalil held his own, finishing the game with 6 tackles and 2 sacks.

Kalil's quickness is a huge asset and he consistently beats offensive tackles. He's aggressive and plays with a lot of heart, but also shows good sportsmanship. Overall, I was impressed by Kalil. It's no wonder he was offered by quality G5 programs like Coastal Carolina and Hawaii. I'm glad he's part of the Texas State team.

4 Stars for Kalil because he can get after the quarterback.
