The Texas State Bobcats have added a hard-hitting tackling machine to their defensive backfield with the transfer of this young 2 x All Southland Conference Safety. He recorded 64 solo tackles and 93 total tackles in 2022, which made him the second leading tackler behind defensive player of the year Kelechi Anyalebechi. While his ferocity and tackling ability are undeniable, the one area where he can improve is in his ball skills, recording 0 interceptions in 2022. However, he did force 3 fumbles with his hard-hitting style. He will bring a winning attitude to the defensive backfield and his aggressive play will be a valuable asset to the team. He is a day one starter and all-conference candidate.
When asked which NFL players he compares himself to he said "Sean Taylor, Ronnie Lott and Tyrann Mathieu." I like the comparisons and that he's a student of the game.
