Darius is an above average player with good size, decent speed, quickness and strength. He is known for his high IQ and ability to diagnose plays. Because he doesn't possess elite athleticism, he may be better suited to play safety rather than cornerback. He was a solid 3-Star recruit according to 247, and had multiple offers, including Dartmouth, which confirms his intelligence. Playing against SBC caliber talent rather than SEC athletes should help Darius.
Overall he is a good athlete with above average intelligence. Has a chance to be a very good safety, IMO. However, he's athletic enough to play corner in the SBC.
