Commentary:

Camden had 26 unassisted tackles, 3 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions for 48 yards. Those stats would have placed him second behind Kaleb Ford-Dement in 2023, but the Sun Belt Conference is a significant step up in competition. Although GJ has successfully recruited talented players from the FCS in the past, those FCS recruits were all-conference or All-American players at their previous schools. The starting cornerback position is wide open. It's an incredibly challenging position, but we need someone to step up, make plays, and avoid getting blocked on sweeps. Is Camden that guy? He will have a legitimate opportunity to start as the season progresses.
