Commentary:
Being a good college football player is not easy. It requires perseverance through adversity and total dedication in the weight room, practice, meetings, and on the field of play, which is beyond what many players are willing to give. David Conner has found himself in the perfect situation at Texas State with an elite coaching staff, specifically the strength and conditioning coach and offensive line coach. However, he has transferred each year of college so far. I should have been more critical of this fact when it came to Issiah Walker, who, like David, was a South Florida athlete who started his career at Florida. However, unlike Walker, who was a JUCO All-American, David hasn't accomplished anything in college yet. Hopefully, this is his last stop, and he overcomes the inevitable adversity he will face and accepts the challenge of the competition he will face to play, because TXST is recruiting their butts off on the offensive line.
